I was singing this at lunch with friends and we had just been talking about religion before so when we got to the “jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs, let’s vote for jobs” part, I accidentally sang “God, God, God, God, let’s vote vote for God!”
I have to agree. I’ve watched this one maybe 15-times now and I’m still not sick of it. It’s a solid song even without the humor (though the humor does make it a tad tastier for the journey.)
It’s interesting. Sarah Palin quits and every liberal in the US goes fucking ballistic. Obama quits his job as Illionois Senator after being ont he job for only 143 days ( I think, could have been 148) AND after promising his constituents a full 6 years before seeking higher office (said live on national TV to Tim Russert) and there’s not a peep from the left.
Man, ya’ll are some double standard douche bags and it’s because of partisan stupidity (on BOTH sides) that we are this fucked up.
